Your Privacy Choices

You decide how optional data is used on this site. Here is what each cookie category does — and how to change or withdraw your choices at any time.

Cookie categories

What each category does.

Our consent banner sorts optional cookies into four categories. We describe what each category means — not a vendor list, which changes over time.

The four categories

Categories, in plain language.

Necessary +

Required for the site to work — core security, page navigation, and remembering your cookie choices themselves. These are always on and can’t be switched off, because the site simply wouldn’t function without them.

Functional +

Remembers your preferences to make the site feel like yours — things like your chosen theme or accessibility display settings. The site still works without them, it just won’t remember your choices between visits.

Analytics +

Helps us understand how the site is used in aggregate — for example, which pages are visited — so we can improve it. These measurements are about the site’s performance, not about identifying you.

Advertising +

Used for ad measurement if enabled. When off, no advertising measurement cookies are set.

Change or withdraw

Any time.

Your choices, your timing.

You can revisit and change your cookie choices whenever you like. Open the preference center to switch any category on or off — changes apply going forward from the moment you save.

Withdrawing consent stops new optional cookies from being set, but it doesn’t delete cookies already stored in your browser. To remove those, use your browser’s cookie controls below.

Browser controls

Manage cookies in your browser.

Every major browser gives you direct control over cookies, independent of any preference center:

  • See and delete cookies: In your browser’s settings — usually under Privacy, Security, or History — you can view stored cookies and delete individual ones or all of them at once.
  • Block cookies: Most browsers let you block all cookies or only third-party cookies. Note that blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
  • Private browsing: Private or incognito windows generally don’t keep cookies after the window is closed, so they’re useful for a fresh session without changing your saved choices.
  • Do Not Track: Some browsers include a Do Not Track request; because there is no universal standard for how sites respond to it, it is not a substitute for the cookie categories above.

Your browser’s help pages have the exact steps for your device.

Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control signal.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to turn off non-essential categories.

Nothing else is needed from you — the signal is honored automatically when we receive it. You can also enable GPC in a supported browser if you’d like it sent on every visit.
